AGN Premier

MY short film AGN premiers on the 2nd May in the Sports Cafe screening room, Stavanger, Norway, to a hungry mass of local press and media types. I think they may even be laying on some sort of buffet, but I can't be sure. Anyway, I expect you all to book your plane tickets and be there, or Ill have to strike you of my Christmas card list. Got it????

I am very excited!!!

The DVD will arrive on my doormat a few days after, so rest assured it will be posted on my website within seconds. It might be a good idea to start brushing up on your Norwegian now ;-)

the public are seeing it before you?

Yeah, but that's only because my mate wants to do something special on the DVD for me :-)

I think he wants to put footage of the preview on as I can't make it.

Grand news, Dom.

You hear from the BBC College of Comedy yet? Rach tells us everyone who's successful has been contacted by now apparently... : (

Not too bothered, entered very last minute with a script I wrote ages ago that's crap... But peeved my genius did not make a dent since I felt sure that if I did a rush job on something I don't give a stuff about, that was the key to actually getting somewhere...But NO.

No I haven't heard a thing. I guess I didn't make it :-(

Sir! Can you direct me to a previous post on this fine blog, which might explain how the bejaysus you came to write a short which is premiering in Norway? And congrats!

There are several posts my dear friend and I can't be buggered to look them all up.

The short version of the story is I have a friend Arne Reidar Mortensen who currently works for TVVest(not for much longer)a TV station in Stavanger. He and few friends got together and wanted to make a few shorts and enter them in competitions, so Arne approached me to write for them. The others loved my script and the rest is history.

The press and media premier is this Friday 2nd of May and then later in the year it will be released in cinemas, showing before the main feature. Then it is being entered in the biggest film festive in Norway...not sure how big that is, but it's a bonus none the less.

Feedback done on your latest short script, should be with you now.

Congrats on World Premier of your short movie. Couldn't afford the flights to Norway (had to fix ***** p.c.) so looking forward to seeing it on your website.

With subtitles??? Ya, for sure...
