Make sure you re-read that stuff you wrote after 2:30am. I know from bitter experience that I make some awful cack-handed mistakes at that time of the morning. Syntax and grammar just flies out of the window.

Back from work at 1.45am. Got my head down and did 3/4 of an hour writing, another three pages down.
Bed now, very tired.
Oh, and we have guests at the weekend so I'll have to finish it tomorrow night if I can.

2.00am now, sweating like a piggy wiggy in my small stuffy room. I'm on my second glass of red wine and I'm on page 24, that means 6 to go.

If it's any consolation I'm here writing at 2:00am too. But without wine. It'd make me fall asleep.
